Call for Papers on the Special Issue of ISTA21 (Updated)

ISTA21 is pleased to announce a call for papers for a Special Issue of Environmental Science and Pollution Research (ESPR). This opportunity is open to participants at the ISTA21 symposium. Selected papers will be published in the Special Issue, dedicated to the theme of the ISTA21 conference. Submissions open on August 30, 2024, and the deadline for submission is December 30, 2024. All papers will undergo a standard peer-review process in accordance with ESPR's journal policies, with the Editor-in-Chief making the final decision on acceptance. Accepted papers will be published online shortly after acceptance, and the Special Issue will be published once all manuscripts have been received.

Apology for defect on abstract submission system and re-extension of deadline for abstract submission

Dear ISTA21 participants,

We deeply apologize for defect on abstract submission system on June 15.

Therefore, we would like to inform all of you that deadline for abstract submission is extended until June 19 (until 23:59:59 of June 19 as Japan Standard Time).

Could you please send your abstract (as MS Word file) to ista21@nies.go.jp , instead of using the submission system?

Please also provide the following information with us:

• Preference of your presentation: Oral, Poster, or Either is fine
• Best Student Poster or Platform Awards (STUDENTS ONLY)
  Yes or No; Indicate if you wish to be assessed for Best Student Poster or Platform Awards

Abstract submission deadline extended

We are delighted to announce that the abstract deadline for the 21st International Symposium on Toxicity Assessment (ISTA21), which will be held from August 25 to 30, 2024 in Fukuoka, Japan, is extended.

The new abstract submission deadline is set for June 15, 2024
(Deadline for notification of abstract acceptance: June 22, 2024).

Please note that there will not be any other extension of this deadline.
Therefore, you have 2 weeks left to finalize and submit your abstract.
We look forward to welcoming you to ISTA21 in Fukuoka in this August.

Special Issue of ISTA21 to be published!!

The proposal for a special issue of ISTA21 has been approved by the editorial
office of the journal, Environmental Science and Pollution Research
(https://link.springer.com/journal/11356 ) (Impact Factor 5.8 (2022)). Details on submission to the special issue of ISTA21 will be announced soon at the website of ISTA21.
